Tape takes time to develop adhesive strength when applied. But that doesn't mean longer is better. Generally speaking, 80-90% of the maximum bond strength can be achieved after the tape has been applied for more than 24 hours. Therefore, when using waterproof butyl tape as a fixing effect, it should be noted that the next operation cannot be performed immediately after bonding, and it should be left for a period of time to make the bonding performance meet the requirements before the next operation.
